Cheddar's is Daniel's favorite restaurant (and they are finally opening one in Memphis!!!) We ate there on Friday night!
Bad clarity, but it's Cheddars!
And he let me go to Home Goods! Where I scored this really awesome vintage, rustic cabinet looking thing. I am going to use it on the gift table so people can put their cards in it! And what is great is that I can use it after the wedding. What, i'm not totally sure of yet, but I will use it again!
In Home Goods
In my home!!!
Saturday we woke up early (because someone did not want to "waste their vacation sleeping"), ate breakfast and headed out to visit the new City Auto in Murfreesboro. It's nice and they are doing a lot of business since getting their license in December. We did some outlet shopping where we scored a bunch of good loot! We both got new clothes (not that we need them), some house stuff, clothes for my niece Piper, and we got Daniel's wedding ring and my Valentine's day present!!!
We had lunch with my bff's Matt and Grant. They are a hoot to hang out with and I am so glad Daniel gets along with them so well. We walked around the mall at Cool Springs and went to the Preds game (hockey). The game was so much fun. Daniel and I were both so amazed at the die hard fans the Predators have! We will definitely go back for another game!
Waiting for the players!!!
We also saw the "Bat Cave" also known as the ATT Building downtown. I don't know why, but every time I go to Nashville I have to see this building. It's pretty cool.
Bat Cave at night!
Sunday we had lunch with my family, Leah and Hilary. I really miss them and wish I could see them more!!! But it was great catching up, even if it was only a short time.
Also, I wanted to share with you readers some wedding updates. Pretty much all aspects of the wedding have been planned. I am just tying up some loose ends and working on the small stuff.
My dress is currently at the seamstress. I have a fitting on the 16th of this month. Needless to say, I am a little nervous. She is cutting off 18 inches of my dress!!!!! I can't wait to see all of the improvements that are being made!
I ordered my brooch for my dress, earrings and reception shoes.
Brooch, which will go on the left side of my dress, above the lace cutout
Plum colored pearls
Glitter Toms for the reception so I can dance the night away!
I have narrowed down our Rehearsal Dinner venues to The Butcher Shop and Jim's Place Grille. Now for the in-laws to decide. Thursday of this week, my mother and I am going to a tasting of the reception food! Look for pictures soon!
Now, here is what I am having trouble with. Our first dance song. I just can't decide. I want to do something a little different than the normal, but it also needs to be about us and our relationship. I would like to say I have narrowed it down to 2, but not yet. Here is what is in the running so far:
Johnny and June - Heidi Newfield
All My Life - K-Ci and JoJo
The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Leona Lewis
Lucky - Colbie Calliet/Jason Mraz
A Thousand Years - Christina Perri
I would love some feedback, voting, suggestions anything from ya'll. Thanks!!!
Just wanted to share that this is what happens when you go out of town and have to board your dog:
My poor Enzo!
Happy Reading!
